Your cable bill is going up this year and next year, and the year after that. Forever. Up up and away go your dollars.
The average digital cable customer pays almost $75 a month, with many subscribers paying more than $100 to have more content. Cable will continue to go up with no end in sight. Providers have to make up losses and consumers bear the brunt of it.
Networks are suffering as advertising dollars fall. Cable providers have competition from satellite providers and telecoms, as well as programming on demand, not to mention Hulu.
Nothing you can do really. Either ditch cable and watch it all online.(Which is easy and saves you all that money) or just go with the flow. Just realize that in five years you will be paying MUCH more for cable.

Recently my cable bill went up and I called to inquire why it went up. The operator asked am I dissatisfied with the service or the price? I simply said "The price". She instantly reduced my monthly bill by $15 just because I called. This is good for 1 year so I will call again in one year and have it reduced again. Now I am saving $15 a month until I call again.
