If you're still waiting for your stimulus payment, you'll want to be on the look out for a notification letter from the IRS. I just got mine. I decided to scan it in so you'd know what to look for.

Here it is in all its government envelope glory:

stimulus notification letter

I've scanned in the letter I received also, but I'll upload that later. I need to read it over first. I'll post the text of the letter once I've scanned it in.

Make sure you save the letter when you get it. You'll need to refer to it if you don't get your payment. Plus it says in big bold print "DO NOT THROW AWAY." It's all very official.

I am on SSI and SSA and I did not file income tax because i did not have enough income. What do I need to do to get the stimulus check?

    Cindy,
You need to have enough income to file. SSI does not count. The IRS should have sent you several packets in the mail giving you an opportunity to qualify.
