Need money? Have a drawer full of old electronics?  Gazelle.com will give you cash for them. The start-up launched in 2006 and gladly pays cash for used electronics. Anything from LCD TVs to video game consoles and cell phones. They then either resell or recycle them.

Just log on to the site and answer a few quick questions about the devices. Then Gazelle calculates how much it will pay for the item through an algorithm that uses price data culled from primary and secondary retailers like eBay and Amazon. Four-year-old laptops can get you  as much as $200, and fourth-generation iPods can score nearly $100.

The company even pays for shipping and will send you a box for most orders.
