As the economy improves, air travel will as well. That means more delayed flights. More headaches.
Air travel has been declining since way back in 2008, but it is expected to pick up next year, resulting in all the familiar problems, according to a study released Thursday. The study from the Brookings Institution said the downturn in travel has a "silver lining of freeing up airport capacity and improved on-time arrival rates. But these silver linings will disappear…in 2010."
More delays. Hurray. Did you know that every year since 2000, at least 15% of flights have been delayed at least 15 minutes, according to the study? Good times ahead folks.
The economy getting better doesn't make everything better.
