There is a lot of confusion and no shortage of questions about the IRS economic stimulus payment. I’m try to keep up with the questions but it’s become a full time job. This article is an index of the important links related to the stimulus payment.

At first I tried to answer every question. However, due to the sheer number of stimulus payment questions, this became a full time job. I simply can’t answer every question from readers. Instead, I’ve created this article index to help readers find the answers to their questions.

It seems that the tools on the IRS website don’t quite work as advertised. However, they are still the best way we have to estimate when and how much our payment will be.

    Hi I have a question if you had filed a amended return and it contains your Bank info for direct deposit. Will the rebate be deposited into that account?

    As far as I can tell I am eligable for the economic stimulus check I filed 2007 tax return, recieved my refund direct deposit into my checking account, I am Head of household with 2 quailfying children, my last 2 digits of my SSN is 45 I was supposed to get my rebate no later than May 9th when I look up my information on the website it says they have “no specific information” on me. I did recently have a name change on my SS card would that affect my rebate? How do I speak to an accual human being from the IRS?
