I finally received my stimulus check in the mail yesterday. It came when it was supposed to. With all the horror stories readers have reported, I was a little worried.

However, the check appeared right on time and for the correct amount. We signed it and put it in the bank.

Now what are we going to do with the check? Big screen TV? New furniture? New computer? No. Something else completely.

I'm stashing my money away in what I call my "war chest." I'm trying to get enough money together to go into business for myself. But I'll discuss that in another post.

I'm happy I got the check on time and for the right amount. I hope most of you either have or will have the same luck.

I think I answered on another post but I'll answer again here. I was in the 26 – 38 slot due out on June 6 and it came on June 7.

I think the IRS is trying to time the mail so that the check should arrive around the time that the letter says it should. Who knows if it will work, though.

I am not happy at all with my stimulus check. I know people who had no children who received 2 and 3 times more than i did. how is that possible. ! unmarried 18yr.old girl received 851.00 whats up with that when I have a child and significant other who i have claimed on my taxes for the last 3 yrs. we have lived together for 8 yrs now and all i received was a little 300.00. what good is suppose to come of it if they cant help the ones who really need help but give money away to teenagers?
