Tax day is hard on everybody. It's a break in your routine and an annoyance at the very least, even if you are prepared for it. Well, there are at least some things to smile about in the form of freebies. Many corporate chains take advantage of the day to spread a little goodwill and hopefully get your future business. It's like you're a kid all over again getting a lollipop from the bank. Except in this case, the bank is asking for some money, while you turn your pockets inside out and someone else is taking pity on you by offering a treat.
You can get stuff like free Cinnabon bites, a taco or even ice cream.
Cinnabon has "Tax Day Bites" They are offering free Classic Bites from 5 to 8 p.m. on April 15…While supplies last. I wonder if they write that off….
Taco Del Mar’s tax day promotion is called “Taxes Suck, Tacos Don't.” Just fill out an online form and get the coupon.
How about some ice cream? MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream is offering free single-scoop cones on April 15.
There are plenty of other corporations offering freebies. If you look around, you can probably find a whole lot more. Who knows, you might end up being leaner in the pocketbook but very well fed on April 15th.
