Jim Cramer continues to get bad publicity over his Bear Sterns comments. I covered his comments on Bear Sterns in a previous article. It seems however that this one just won’t go away.
The consumerist.com covered the ramifications of Cramer’s goof. It’s given a lot of his enemies some pretty good ammunition. Fox Business News took out full page ads in New York Times and Wall Street Journal.

The Daily Show even made fun of him. Jon Steward said "I love the way Jim Cramer breaks down really complex financial issues into ones that are wrong." I couldn’t find an exact clip of this quote, but the one below does an OK job of poking fun at Jim Cramer.
One thing is sure, I bet Jim Cramer would love to take back those comments. I don’t think I have to remind you to take any financial advice with a grain of salt. If you’re investment plans are based on a 10 second blurb on a TV show, you might be in trouble anyway.
