I guess the economy really is still very fragile since people are still holding back on buying burgers, soda and beer. Many think that fast food, soft drinks and booze are recession-proof. Truth is, nothing is recession proof.
The worst of this downturn may be over, but it doesn't look that way to Coca-Cola, McDonald's and Molson Coors. All three reported that demand for their products is stronger abroad than it is in the United States.
What does it say when people can't even drown their sorrows in booze and crap food?
